    Geography - Why is the Scandinavian climate cold?

    Today we looked at why Scandinavia had a cold climate and looked at latitude to explain it. We learnt about the Earth on its axis and why this means the poles are cold.

    Science - Eggcellent investigation

    Today we carried out an investigating about what happens to teeth when left in certain liquids. We explored squash, water and zero cola. We didn't have teeth ready so had to settle for boiled eggs. Creating a fair test we all ensured that the same amount of liquid was used.

    Golf Day

    DT - Egyptian Shadufs

    Today in DT we had a go at making a shaduf using Ancient Egypt as inspiration We had to consider a design, draw one, make a design and then evaluate the design to see if it was good. We had great fun and some brilliant efforts. Well done year 4

    Science Week - Biodiversity

    Today in Science we could looked at biodiversity, and how everything is linked. We then had to a class discussion on what we should do to help biodiversity within our community. Some excellent points were made. Well done year 4.

    PE - Continuing the ball skills

    In PE this week, we continued to work on coordinating our hands and foot work at the same time. It's proving to be a tricky challenge, but we continue to develop and improve..well done year 4.

    Computing - Collecting data

    Today in Computing we looked at collecting data using sound points and using that to assess where is the loudest part of the school. We had great fun looking around and taking our readings ready to assess.

    PE - Passing skills

    Today in PE we focused around developing our passing skills with each other. We stated by rolling a ball back to eachother and then finished with us passing a football with our feel whilst passing tennis balls with our hands. Well done year 4

    History. What can we learn and what makes us curious?

    Today in History we looked at some pictures of Ancient Egypt and discussed, what could learn from them, and what other things do we want to find out. We looked at a range of pictures and got some really good detail. Well done year 4.
